Seriously, enough now
Although it was great that it stopped when I had to go to the supermarket this afternoon
D'ya reckon all the rain we've been having here should have fallen as snow over the Winter?
It's supposed to clear up by the weekend which means that I only have 2 more days to try and entertain the kids while it chucks it down outside

Now Chris Evans reckons that he has it on authority (Asda apparently) that summer will officially start on the 15th and we will see a real summer.

What seaside are you going to?
We live about half an hour drive from the coast, and it is gorgeous, but a bit too rugged for my lot just yet. The beach at Banff, though, is brilliant and I am dying to walk the dog along there.
On the Suffolk coast, it's the area where my Gran grew up and it's somewhere we love to go back to

Yes, it is very beautiful, isn't it. I would love a poke around the ruins of the old church, but it is a real shame about Sizewell
I don't really care for 'flat' - I'm into hills and mountains and valleys, but I don't mind visiting once in a while.
I went to Norfolk once. Scared the heck outta me. I felt really agoraphobic!
We'll be staying at the end of the village by the Church, it's a really strange place because there's still a working Church in there - they just walled up part of it and let the rest go to ruin
Sizewell is an eyesore, you just have to try not to look that way

I've just looked it up on the internet 'cos I couldn't remember the whole story:
"Unusually, the 18th century church of St Andrew was constructed within the ruins of a much larger 15th century church, the remains of which are still standing around.
The 90ft (27m) tower was completed in 1493 - nearly seventy years after it was first planned - and proved a useful landmark for passing sailors and a handy lookout for raiders.
A rapidly shrinking population saw the large church fall into disrepair, and in June 1695 villagers dismantled the nave, using the materials to build a much smaller version inside the original.
To offset the £291 costs, the churchwardens flogged off the remaining three bells, the roof lead and timber for £303."
So the Church was originally built in the ruins but then they had to build another smaller one inside, just adding to the ruins!
