We're working towards being ready for tomorrow and the first day of school... the kids' bags are packed with the million-and-one things they need at the start of the school year and they'll just need snacks adding later. Their uniforms are ready in their wardrobes and their shiny shoes are in the cupboard, waiting to get scuffed to pieces tomorrow.
I'm now going to shut myself away in the spare room for a bit to get myself sorted out. Thanks to the wi-fi still not working it's also an internet-free room which is a pain in some ways but at least it means I'm not so easily distracted!
Right now I'm feeling pretty mellow about everything but I bet that won't last. At least Mike's coming into school with us tomorrow morning to take Jamie to the Nursery and get him settled, it'll give me one less thing to worry about on a very busy morning
I can't believe the Summer holidays are over already!
