But we made it through the first day

Both the boys have coped well with the changes and seem nicely tired, hopefully they'll sleep well tonight - although sleep may be an issue with Jamie as he has to have a lunch-time nap at his Nursery and he hasn't had a nap at home in more than a year!

I'm absolutely knackered, everything aches and my shoes have given me horrible blisters

And we get to do it all again tomorrow

My three year old grandson starts school tomorrow and will have to have a nap. He often has an inpromtu nap but not a scheduled one! so it'll be interesting to see how he gets on.

His school is all French speaking and he only knows a few French words so it will be equally interesting. His sister who is now 5 didn't have a word of French when she started school and is now speaking like a native.

My daughter is afraid that she'll cry when she leaves her baby at school tomorrow.

  Good luck to him! At least we didn't have the language issue to worry about as he's going to the English nursery

Was it a lunch time nap, or were they playing 'Sleeping Lions'. (I can't believe teachers tried to palm napping off as a game! )
I am glad things went OK.
But do we really have to go back tomorrow?

  It was a proper nap, it's part of the routine in their Nursery - very continental
  
  We played 'Sleeping Lions' in our class, the kids needed calming down
