Aw crap

So the letter we got over the weekend to tell us to go and get our planning permission from the Mairie was completely mis-leading

Turns out it has been rejected because our garage is 10cm too close to the neighbour

Something that our architect should have spotted and sorted out

We can't just make a modification to the plans, we have to re-apply

I am mightily annoyed

I'm afraid it isn't just french red tape - I think planning departments the world over are bloody idiots. I think that is part of the job description.
