1. Yes... I just wish I knew how it's all going to work out so we can!
2. I really don't know, I've wanted to be a teacher ever since I was a kid. However, I would love to do something creative like writing or photography.
3. Sometimes I catch myself driving through Geneva or coping with speaking French and think "Wow, look at you!" 
The sunshine is pretty damn good though!

You need to move up here, and work at our school! Perhaps not as glamorous, but the kids are good kids.
Do you do creative writing as a hobby or anything? I know you like to do photography.
I have the 'rose tinted spex' image of living abroad. We're all sotdgy puddings and you lot are all canapes with sliver of salmon.
A little school in the middle of nowhere would be perfect, not too bothered about where in the UK, I just don't want to be inner city somewhere
I've tinkered with creative writing, I'm just my own worse critic...
The quality of life here is great, I won't deny it, lots of houses with pools in the Summer and the whole ski-ing thing in the Winter

I think you will find she didn't have a name. It was never mentioned throughout the whole book, and every time I read it, I leep an eye out for it. I wonder if de Maurier actually ever *gave* her a name?
