Today's plan

After proving to myself yesterday that I am not meant to be an at-home Mum (this isn't really news, TBH) I've decided to take the kids out this afternoon.

We're going to a shopping centre where they can go in the ~~padded cell~~ supervised play area and I can do the things I need to do without them dragging along behind me.

This is good for all of us

The most important thing I need to sort out this afternoon is Rhys' birthday present, I can't believe he's turning 9 on Friday!

Hard being a Mum with little ones isn't it all the time...made my brain feel like mush sometimes...LOL...Have a good day at the shopping centre... GBHs...XXX

  Yeah, I don't find being at home with them easy at all, that's why we're all better off during term-time

It goes so fast doesn't it? Just yesterday they were tiny and helpless then they are grown up and almost as big as us - scary! Hope the shopping went well x

  He's past my shoulder already and I'm not exactly tiny myself! I reckon he'll be taller than me by the time he's 10
  The shopping was good, thanks, only put them into the padded cell for an hour but it made all the difference!

  Yeah, I can see the attraction of ordering online, unfortunately the thought of doing all of that in French is more off-putting than going around the shops with them!
